Killer Coconut
A coconut palm is threatening to break through the roof of the Palm House. Wes Shaw must cut it down, but first enlists Bill Baker to preserve the palm bud for future study.
Memorial Oaks
Four new oaks are planted along the nineteenth century Pagoda Vista, replacing those blown down in the 1987 hurricane. Members of the public have contributed to the cost, as memorials.
Hedge Laying
Steve Robinson uses coppiced hazel to turn old hawthorn field dividers into beautiful hedges where wildlife can flourish.
