Kew Gardens are always happy to visit your garden and give you a quote based on your needs. By visiting your home, we can suggest what might need to be done, how often we should visit, and how long the job will take.
Some of the services you might want to book could include:
General plant care
Application of fertilisers or weed killers
Ad hoc garden work
We’ve worked with all sorts of gardens across the UK, and therefore have the experience to look after contemporary and traditional gardens, keeping them looking their best.
How often should I use gardening service?
The frequency of maintenance you’ll need in your garden depends on many factors. The style of garden that you have will dictate how much work needs to be done. If you have a contemporary garden with just a few shrubs, then you many only need some pruning and tidying done every couple of months. If you have a more traditional style of garden with lots of flowerbeds, then weekly garden maintenance might be needed, as these gardens can look overgrown very quickly.
Different seasons will also mean different levels of maintenance. You may need lots more weeding and trimming done in the spring, while in winter you may only need us to visit a few times. We will be able to give you a seasonal breakdown of what needs to be done each month.
Tools and equipment
Gardening tools take up a lot of space and are expensive. Because we bring our own tools and equipment, you don’t need to keep any in the garden, freeing up space. You can therefore use your shed for storage instead.
Kew Gardens works with clients across the UK, and each garden is unique, so requires a personalised maintenance plan. Different regions of the UK have much different soil and growing conditions, and so you need experts in garden maintenance who can ensure they use the right techniques to keep your garden blooming.
Some of our clients enjoy doing their own maintenance, but if their garden starts to get neglected, then they will book a one-off tidy. This could mean cutting back trees and bushes, getting rid of debris, and generally getting the garden back to a manageable state. Once this has been done, you’ll find it easier to do the day to day work.
If you need help keeping your garden in top shape, then call our garden maintenance experts today. Whether it’s a one-off tidy, or weekly maintenance, we have a wide range of services to keep your garden looking its best. Call Kew Gardens today to get a free quote.
