Daily General Tours

General tours leave twice daily from the Guides' desk, just inside the Victoria Plaza, Kew Road, at 11am and 2pm. Each guide presents his or her own tour, taking in the highlights of the season, exploring the exotic plants in the glasshouses and explaining the history and work of Kew. General 'Gate' Tours are free of charge and last approximately one hour. They are available throughout the year (except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day when the Gardens are closed).
