Scientific technical training for use at KS3, KS4 and KS5, set in the wonderful botanic gardens of Wakehurst Place and Kew.

Philip Harris and the Royal Botanical Gardens Kew, are proud to bring you another year of our extremely successful Technical Training Courses, specially designed for Science Technicians and brought to you by the combined talents of Philip Harris, Royal Botanical Gardens Kew, Unilab and SAPS.

The Technicians’ Training Courses are intended to guide you through each workshop, all of which are relevant to the National Curriculum at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The workshops are designed with intimate numbers not exceeding 20 in mind, allowing for the personal development of new techniques and the opportunity for everybody to be involved in open questioning.

£60 per head to include workshop material, resources, refreshments and lunch.

The content of each of the 3 days is identical, so you can attend whichever day suits you best (subject to availability). The day will consist of 4 workshops, lunch and refreshments, as well as the opportunity to stay in the gardens at the end of the day's programme.

Wakehurst Place, 11 - 12 June 2008
